Understanding how humans interact with technology is becoming increasingly important. It is ever changing as the web proceeds into Web3. Most use UX to create more sales. I study UX in order to create apps that help the community.

Blue Cross Internship

Summary

At Blue Cross of Idaho I learned how to create journey maps. We represented the distinct stages that different personas go through when trying to get healthcare. I also practiced analyzing other health care strategies implemented by different companies in order to inform the Blue Cross methodology.

Blue Cross helped me define UX. I learned how UX is useful in modern day applications. Starting from the basics helped me incorporate standard best practices when user testing VR applications.

VR Lessons

Summary

Creating VR lessons brings many challenges that are quite different from normal in-person lessons. This async experience challenged my understanding of teaching. Directions became the most important part of the process. We needed to make sure that anyone could digest the lesson without becoming frustrated.

My biggest challenge was designing a physics playground without much physics knowledge. I learned how to plan and scope with clients to see what lessons were needed to be showcased.

AR UX Design

Summary

Augmented reality produces a new challenge for UX research and design. How do people interact in these new environments? New research needs to be done in this field.

There aren't a lot of standards for user experience design when it comes to augmented reality. Before becoming a project manager for this experience, I helped design some basic mock-ups.
