Empathy
Summary
Empathy is a language learning VR game. The primary goal was to provide a tool for language education while promoting cultural understanding. You spawn in a spiritual world where you are taught how to speak your target language. Then you move onto the human world where you will apply your knowledge. I completed UX testing and found that most students were able to use speech to text in order to complete in-game conversations.

This was my first big project. The design was the most important piece because I had to design a methodology of teaching languages in VR. I learned a lot about different theories of teaching. I decided to employ a study then apply approach. If I was able to finish this project, I would create scenes in famous cities of the language such as learning German in Berlin.
Spacecraft
Summary
How can we inspire K-12 students to pursue careers in STEM? How about smashing molecules together in VR? This was a passion project I made in a couple weeks. I think it has a lot of potential even for its low scope. Chemistry can be a hard concept to grasp on paper, so I went looking for ways to visualize the basics concepts in VR.

You crash land onto an alien planet. Your ship AI companion suggests ways of repairing your ship. You must head out into the world and extract molecules with your chem gun. Using your chemistry knowledge, you will create bonds that form materials so that you can repair your ship and head home.
Industry Certification
Summary
During my internship at VictoryXR, I helped design and implement a VR robotics certification. This certification went through the use of robots, wiring Arduinos, and programming. We were able to put the user into a warehouse that needed repairs. I learned a lot about design and programming on this project.
